Nike Free 5.0 Womens – Running (like) barefoot, who would have thought it was going to be such a hit?

My first two thoughts on the arrival, of Nike Free 5.0 was why? And how? The flexible mid/outsole with its split-up pattern was set to raise questions of durability and function, does it actually work as advertised? – The answer is YES! What ever the previous doubts and concerns may have been, they are all a part of my own uninformed history now. With a strong answer of productive results in unexpected directions of the Nike Free 5.0 Womens I have turned from a skeptic to a true supporter of Nike Free technology.

My second concern of this highlighted release from Nike is in the nature of equality, will the ladies selection be as varied and invested in as the mens selection? Or to be more precise, will the cutting edge technology be invested and introduced to ladies as it is to men? To my satisfaction (and hopefully many others) I would like to say that I see a quite equal usage of the Nike Free 5.0 for women and men. All of a sudden I see them everywhere, in the gym, on running tracks and even as casual everyday sneakers.

Bridging the gap of sports performance and the mainstream (casual every day users), is a big accomplishment in these days when the parameters of users have moved so far out in opposite directions. From performance where seconds feel like eternity to the attitude of only looking for comfort is a remarkable performance in it self.
